Recent Best Western All Review: "This hotel was great for us. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was great; it was nice and clean and everything worked, the air worked great, the tv had all the good channels (including three ESPN channels), it had a small balcony where you could see some of the Busch Gardens rides. The room bathroom was clean and the shower was very nice and looked new. It had a pool and a hot tub and the bar thing that was all nice. My younger sister enjoyed playing with the other kids, so its nice if you have young kids. The bar had a bunch of tvs and the food was good and cheep. There was a shuttle to Busch Gardens and Adventure Island that was right on time. There was a computer in the lobby that was free, there was internet access in the rooms, but we didn't use it so we don't know if it really worked. Everything went smooth as pie (lol) and would recommend to everyone. We will stay here next time for sure. We got a taxi from the airport to the hotel and it cost about 45 dollars including the tip, but different companies cost different. Everything was really nice."

| Overall, the hotel facilities and location were nice. . Service at the desk was competent and cordial. Room was OK but needs maintanance. For example, the shower handle was loose and a problem to regulate cold and hot water. Room was not cleaned the first day and we had to request towels. My major critique is Breakfast. It was awful. There was no variety, artificial waffles that had a rubber-like consistency, only one kind of cereal, 4 old oranges was all the fruit you can find, and chemical orange juice, which is a joke if you are in Florida.where fresh orange is a must. Last time my family stayed in this hotel, they complained about breakfast too. So, it has not improved, I will be looking for a fifferent hotel next time I am in Tampa. |

| I went to Tampa to visit my son who is attending USF-Tampa campus. This hotel offers quite reasonable rates and is very close to the university.
Our room was nearby the recreation area and at first we thought--oh boy this is going to be loud and unruly but we read in the hotel information booklet that these amenities would close at 10PM. Sure enough every night there was NO noise after 10PM. Very pleasantly surprised. The hot buffet breakfast is an added perk--it features many "help yourself" items such as waffles, toast, grits (ready made) and hard boiled eggs, ham, juice, cereals and coffee. Pretty decent way to start ones day without having to leave the hotel, i would say!
In conclusion, I would recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again on a future visit to the USF Campus. |

| We had good and bad experiences at this hotel. The size and privacy of the suite was great. The convenience of sink, refrigerator, microwave, blow dryer, etc., all in your room made for a great addition. The pool was nice, along with the poolside bar/restaurant. Felt very clean and relaxing. The bad part came later, the ac would not cool our room off, it took until the next morning to get to a comfortable temp. Also the toilet would not flush and the shower began to back up. We called to the front desk 2 times about it, finally they said someone was coming up to check by the 3rd call, but we had put my 3 yr old down and it was almost 10:30 pm. We told them not to worry and we would deal with it. The next morning we went down for the complimentary "hot" breakfast, which was complete chaos. The food looked gross, everyone was grabbing at things and all over the room and when we simply asked a question about potentially getting some eggs we were greeted with an eye roll, and a shake of the head. My daughter did grab some dry cereal and being 3 spilled some onto the floor, at this time I asked 2 women behind the counter if I could have a broom, as I would sweep up her "accident." I again was greeted by eye rolls and deep sighs, no one spoke. At this point my husbnd and myself grabbed our daughter and said "we are outta here, this is ridiculous!" We were checked out and at breakfast (real breakfast), by 8:15 AM. |

| Hotel was ideally located near Busch Gardens but also located near an extremely active City Police/Fire Station. The emergency sirens interrupted our rest all evening long. It felt like we were apart of the precinct staff. After a day full of activities the noise was neither expected, desired, nor appreciated. The Breakfast selection the following morning was absolutely terrible. I recommend you wake up early to partake in your meal if you want more appetizing choices. |

| This property is in need of extensive renovations, beginning with hard mattresses that make an audible "crunch" sound when you sit on them. The bed was woefully uncomfortable. There were many stains on the carpet. I didn't feel the bedspread was clean. The bathroom was ill lit by a fluorescent bulb. The towels were nice and plentiful. There were gates from the complex into the parking lots, but the gates were never locked, leading to a sense of security concerns. This is a property where I would not feel safe leaving anything such as a camera or laptop in my room. The lobby area and other public areas are all very dated and run down.
There was NOTHING gracious about the hotel reception staff.
I would not stay here again. |

| you would really like this hotel! they where very nice people and we had took a taxi cab to the hotel and they over charged us, one of the front desk people offered us a ride back for the inconvience! she really didnt have to do that it was not her problem! and we are greatly appreciative will definetley stay at this hotel again! |

| Great location and the staff was very nice. Loved the all suites. We were able to print out our boarding passes for our flight home too. That was a surprise. I will definitely try to stay there if I am ever in the area again. |
