Recent Caliente Resort Review:"If you're comfortable with clothing-optional, Caliente is hands-down the best choice (and value) for a stay in the Tampa area. The hotel rooms aren't a surprise; they'd be typical of a good hotel chain's offerings - clean, comfortable, nice screened patio/balcony, refrigerator, in-room coffee.
It's the rest of the resort that really shines. Ultra-friendly service throughout, pools are beautiful, and the atmosphere totally relaxed. The facilities appear spotlessly maintained, and having visited the area frequently over the last ten years, I've stayed at dozens of other properties in the TPA/Clearwater area...this makes them all seem pedestrian in comparison. No noisy speakers blaring music by the pool, no spring-breakers running around, nothing but sun, peace, and the freedom to enjoy it all sans clothing. What more could you wantr"
