Recent Courtyard Marriott Downtown Review: "Although I only stayed one night, the friendly staff called me by name, and were very accomodating. The room was spacious, clean and well cooled. The king sized bed was extremely comfortable. Although the hotel is in the downtown area, it was a well lit area at night, and I had no fear walking the three blocks to my event. The restaraunt on the main floor had a fine breakfast buffet, and the salmon I had for dinner was very good. I would stay here again if in the area."

| We stayed at the downtown Courtyard because our daughter and husband live across the street at Skypoint Condominiums. So, it is very conveniently located. It would be nice if the courtyard offered the family members a discounted rate, but other than that..... the hotel room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I'll will stay there again. |

| The staff was very courteous and efficient. The hotel was in a great location also. However, I would rate this hotel as a 2 star at best. While it was clean, the hotel needed serious updating. The bathroom was dark and dingy, the wooden furniture was very noticably worn, and their was an iron burn on the carpet. I was expecting more from a Marriott Brand hotel. |

| This hotel has a great location and it's easy to get everywhere in Tampa from it. The service was excellent and the front desk workers were very welcoming and hardworking. I would stay here again! |

| I've stayed at plenty of Courtyard Hotels and this one was near the bottom of the list. The breakfast was cold, we had to move rooms because the first room had black mold on the walls and carpet. |

| All the employees were very helpful,always with a smile on their faces.
The valet driver,Kenneth, housekeeper,Alicia,and the ladies at the cafe. sorry I didn't get their names.
The only problem was with the ice machines --we all had to go to each floor to find a little ice.
also there were no towels at the pool on sat.night or sunday. |

| Valet for one side of the hotel and self parking for the other. Not exactly convenient, and the staff was to busy talking with coworkers to help the guest in line. |

| our room was very nice and everyone treated us very well. The problem was the toilet kept running every few minutes. A gentleman was sent to look at it, however, he wasn't able to fix it and the maintenance man was not on duty.
The other strange thing - we arrived on Saturday around lunch time and the local restaurants are not open on the weekend. I was surprised since we were in Tampa. We had tickets for a 2pm play in the vicinity so we purchased sandwiches from the hotel's machine. |

| The hotel was in a great location, we were able to walk to all our destinations or take the trolley that was provided. The staff was extremely helpfull at suggesting local places to watch the football games and where to order food when everyone else was closed because it was so late. The rooms were very clean and we had a nice view. Great room for the money. We will definately consider staying again next time we are in the area. |
