Recent Crowne Plaza Westshore Review: "my husband and two sons needed a room quickly as our nephew had a soccer tournament in Tampa. our favorite hotels are those with with two room suites as we need the additional space because of the boys. because of the late time we book our hotel we could not find a 3 star suite for a reasonable price and stumbled across the crowne plaza for an extremely reasonable price. we were very skeptic because a suite was not available. when we got to the hotel all our fears dissapeared. the hotel was extremely clean. the restaurant in the lobby had the most delicious french fries i have ever tasted. in addition the breakfast buffet was extremely reasonable expecially since our young children were able to eat free of cost. in additional the pool was beautiful and clean. most importantly a mall was directly across the street putting us close to pfchang our favorite asian restaurant and chipotle our favourite mexican joint, in close vincinity was also our favorite seafood joint bonefishe grill. boy this was like a little heaven. my son also delighted as IHOP was a little further up the street, so he could enjoy his silver dollar pancakes whenever he wanted. his second favorites mickey d's and burger king were also close by. On our first evening in town our youngest son came down with eye allegies and the walgreens across the street was most convenient. the statf was also very lovely. i definately will be returning here on my next trip toTAmpa."

| Th staff was very nice and friendly at this Crowne Plaza. The rooms were very well appointed including flat screen tv's and high style. FREE self parking was a huge benefit. The workout facility was less than I would have expected for this hotel, but I would stay here again. |

| Great horel at great price! Upgraded our room. Even offered a pool cabana room suite at no extra charge. We opted for the 2 bed regular room on the top floor. Excellent staff, quiet, nice area..convenient to airport and town. Rooms were a little on the dim side but that's a petty complaint to the great beds, and comfy room. |

| It was my second stay at Crown Plaza. Overall, it's a good hotel. It's clean and smells better than many other hotels. This time I used their gym: it is OK, but very small. Free wireless internet is a big plus. Free parking is also a great feature.
Disadvantage is the lack of free breakfast but there are a lot of restaurants nearby - on Kennedy blvd and at the Mall, which is very close (but not quite within a comfortable walking distance).
Some other things I didn't like this time was that the bathroom was very small, and the walls must be very thin since I heard people from the rooms around mine. Also, the pipes made a strong noise when the people from the next room were using the shower.
So, this hotel is nice if you can get a good price! |

| Overall a good last-minute travel experience. Flight arrived at midnight and airport shuttle picked me up promptly within 20 minutes. Front desk attendant was exceptionally friendly. Did not care for the modern/bluish tint to the room lights but otherwise the room was clean and comfortable so can't complain. Bathrooms were excellent and had no hassle checking out. Breakfast was not included and the selection was a little limited, but otherwise very satisfied. |
