Recent Days State Fairgrounds Review: "No complaints!right near Brandon, off interstate, best price in town by far...and much more than I expected for the price. Staff helpful when I called to reserve a specific room when booking on the internet. Clean, up to date, frige, nice beds, internet...all what I need. Will stay here again."

| microwave and fridge came in handy. I have stayed at hyatt and radison and did not have hbo nor microwave and fridge sometimes. was great for the price. Loved the free breakfast and free internet. |

| I really like this motel, It is older and they are always working to improve! They have 2 buildings, number 1 is the check in and all the non-smoking rooms. In lots of other motels you can still smell old stale smoke. This motel has no odor of smoke. The carpets are clean, I walk about in the room with white socks on...never had them any more dirty then just every day use. I can't say enough about the staff, from the pool guy, the cleaning crew, the front desk people are all just the greatest. I have left my computer running and on a program that should not have been running and the room cleaning crew never did anything to my computer. I have walked off and left one or more of my credit cards on the desk and they were never moved.
This is one great place to stay sure it has some needs, could use some paint outside. There could be an ice machine on the 2nd floor. A bigger pool would be nice. A bigger area with more item's for the free continental breakfast would be good. None of these things have to be. I stick by my word it is a great place to stay..it is quite, the room are very big. Lots of hot water. A safe is in each room. I stay there each time I go to Tampa, Florida, 15 minutes on Rt60 and you in downtown Tampa. No bars, no hookers, no druggie, no pan handlers, no drunks. |

| First hotel I have stayed in where I had to turn the a/c off because it got too cold. Room was clean. Carpets could use a good cleaning. Bed, linens, and pillows were fine. HUGE tv and a good selection of channels. Pool is beautiful. A GREAT deal for the money. |

| Room had the smell of an older hotel, a little musty. The bathroom was really aging and not that nice, but still clean and functional. Matresses should be replaced and pillows were puffy, but way to firm...stiff neck material. Staff was great, computers in lobby worked fine. Food was ok, but food area is a converted hotel room and also aging badly...get a decorator!! Bottom line is, I would actually stay there again due to amazingly low price, but do not go expecting a quality hotel that you could have friends come see you in. Good for sleep, shower, shave and...well you get the pic. |

| The hotel was clean and comfortable. My room had a coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. The pool was great, and my room was nice a quiet.
I would definitely stay here again if I ever go back to Tampa. |
