Recent Doubletree Westshore Review: "I liked everything. very clean bedroom and bathroom, I liked that they make the guest separate recycle material and garbage in the garbage cans which is good for the enviroment. I liked The neutrogena products for personal hygiene. It was great for me the transportation Airport-hotel-airport. The team was polite. I also had a venting machine close to my bedroo, which it was good for me. I expected to have a little refrigerator in my bedroom but I didn't. Any way that it wasn't a big deal for me."

| This hotel is quite avarage, and nothing special. Although it appears to have been renovated in recent years it is getting quite tired. The doors are of the metal design and not wood as in many more salubrious establisments.
The restaurant is awful, with a limited menu. Service was a joke. My soup was brought to the table with my entree. When I said soup is served first and then the entree, I was told I should have asked for that when I ordered because most people like their soup with their entree. Needless to say my entree was cold by the time I finished the soup. I ordered Porcini Filet, but the mushrooms were merely button mushrooms and not porcini.
For the standard offered I thought the prices were too high.
No wonder the restaurant was deserted.
I would recommend anyone staying here to try one of the many nearby quality restaurants.
A charge is made for internet which I find unacceptable these days. also the TV options were all chargeable, and at very high prices. |

| For our purposes, this hotel was ideal. We stayed only one night to be close to the Tampa Airport where we flew out of the next day. The surrounding neighborhood was not so great, but a short drive took us to a nice phamacy and we noticed some nice restaurants. Upon our arrival and check in (which went very smooth), we were each given a very warm chocolate chip cookie. Yummmm!!! Desk clerk was nice and helpful with directions.
The room was very nice and very clean. The beds were great. We ate at the sports pub within the hotel. Food was delicious and reasonably priced.
Will always stay there when we need to be close to the airport. |

| There were alot of kids in the hotel for various functions, and they were so noisy that I couldn't sleep, however this is not the hotel management's fault. Thin walls and doors. The guy who drove the courtesy van was awesome. Took me where I needed to be as I was car-less. Nice sports bar inside, too. Would return for sure. |

| Stayed here for 2 nights. Hotel offered their shuttle service for transport to comcert at stadium. Driver said he would pick us up at same spot after concert but that did not happen for us or many other guests who were fairly irate after walking almost 4 miles back to the hotel.
Manager did apologize but won't be going back. |
