Recent Embassy Airport Westshore Review: "We showed up at the hotel to stay for 2 nights before going on a cruise out of Tampa. First I would like to say thanks to the hotel for arranging transportation to the pier for all 6 of us. Also the room, hotel and pool were great. I have no complaints about the hotel itself. The only downside to the hotel is there is a lot of construction going on in the surrounding areas and very few places to eat. Which makes it a little hard to walk anywhere to get something to eat or do. There is a mall across the street but it doesn't have much in the way of family restaurants to take 16 year old kids to. So don't expect much within walking distance of the hotel. But it is definitely worth staying at as long as you don't mind using the shuttle or taking a taxi to any attractions. Overall stay here if you want a great room and a clean hotel and fast pickup from the airport."
