Recent Homewood Hilton Brandon Review: "OK, I guess I was expecting more after reading all the glorious reviews and 100% recommendations. The staff was very friendly and helpful at check in, the room was very nice, clean and quiet, however being advertised as suites, I felt that the room was somewhat smallish. VERY tight kitchen, it's basically an average sized hotel room converted to a studio  like apartment. As for the morning breakfast, yes it's very good but being saturday morning, it was very crowded and they were constantly running out of everything (especially the eggs and waffle mix, yes they would restock but there was a looooong wait for that, and if you were'nt standing there, the eggs would run out before you got back. Overall the stay was nice and the price was good for the quality of the hotel, we only stayed one night (friday) so it's possible that they were understaffed that morning for breakfast. The area was good also, there are alot of close by restaurants and shopping (nothing in walking distance though), great stop over before a cruise, only about 15 minutes from the port!"
