Recent Hyatt Place Westshore Review: "The hotel has a self-check in machine which was very easy and simple. The hotel overall was really nice. The rooms were really clean and they come in each day to clean the rooms. easy and close to restaurants. The downside i would have to say is the location of the hotel and the airplane noise. They are not on the street so you have to pay close attention or else you would miss the hotel. Also the airplane noise was a bit loud when you are out in the swimming pool but once you are in the room you couldnt hear the airplane noise."

| With this hotel being set back off of Westshore blvd. surrounded by other midrange hotels hampton inn, etc. I was expecting much. However, the pictures on the web looked great and for once they matched exactly what I saw when I arrived.
The best thing about this hotel is the staff. The maid service was great, the staff were extremely freiendly and good natured. The manager greets everyone in the morning and remembered me from the week before and responded with a "great to see you again". They have free continental breakfast, with 1 hot item and surprisingly good coffee. They can also serve you a la carte hot breakfast or other food by request and they serve food 24 hours!
Room had 40" flat screen with HD and HBO. King size bed, refrigerator, granite bar, desk, sectional sofa with leather ottoman.
I must say that with the absolute disappearance of good customer service these days. This Hyatt place will revive your spirit and faith in the service industry. |

| This was a great hotel. The room was large, with the a big flat screen HD TV. The bed was very comfortable and clean. The entire room was clean. The staff was responsive when I thought the lights in the sleeping area were broken (just unplugged). The only thing is the free high speed internet is a bit slow. But it is free and always available. The free breakfast was fresh and they keep restocking everything right up until it ends. |

| I chose this hotel for a weekend getaway for my wife and me. I was curious about this new Hyatt product. In general it was quite good. Beds were extremely comfortable, the rooms were well appointed, and the staff exceptionally helpful. Because this Hyatt Place was in a refurbed older hotel, there were a couple of annoying problems. The water temperature was inconsistent - either very hot or cold. It was very difficult to regulate. The a/c was an older wall unit that ran constantly in spite of its thermostat and was very loud. Its placement very close to the bed made for a loud evening. The hotel gym was worthless. No weights and only two treadmills. At this price point and brand, the pool should include a hot tub. Overall a pretty good hotel, but not great. |

| The hotel staff were extremely attentive and pleasant. The rooms look they have been upgraded but not the carpets. The shuttle is available to guests traveling up to 3 miles in the surrounding area which is very nice. I prefer to be able to order room service but this hotel does not have a restaurant so you have to order delivery or walk to a near by restaurant. Overall I thought the hotel was adequate and the staff were fantastic. For an overnight, this hotel is fine. |
