Recent Hyatt Regency Downtown Review: "This is our second visit to the Hyatt Regency Tampa Downtown and we are looking forward to returning again in August. The "awaken" package includes a complete breakfast and is an incredible deal. The rooms are clean and well furnished and the staff is courteous and helpful. We were really pleased to learn that the trolley now has a new stop only one  block from the hotel making it easy to get to Channel Side, the St Pete Times Forum and Ybor City. The pool and hot tub are on the roof at the 5th floor level, and the facility is clean and relaxing. Our only complaint would be that we did not have bar service at the pool area. If your visiting Tampa Downtown and want to be near Channel Side, The Forum, and close to the Port of Tampa you wont go wrong staying at this hotel. The bar , Restaurant, Starbucks inside the hotel, free daily News papers, refreshing lemon aide at check in, and courteous staff will make you want to return."
