| Unlike most airport hotels, this Intercontinental is within an easy walk of nice restaurants and a major shopping center. Parking is convenient without need for valet service. In fact, seeing how valet drivers speed through garage would make one hestitate to use this service. Housekeeping is the most inconsistent I have experienced. If not for that factor, I would highly rate hotel and recommend it as long as you have your own transportation (it is inconvenient to downtown Tampa, even somewhat so with your own car). |

| the downside was the room looked into a center atrium that was facing offices in the adjoining tower. nothing to look at and needed to keep the drapes closed. ask about this before you book the room or at check-in |

| Hotel offered free transfer from Tampa airport. We called the hotel and spoke to concierge. He said he would send the transfer bus. This never happened. We waited 45 minutes and called again. Spoke to front desk and she took care of getting the transfer to us. Concierge dropped the ball but we would not hold that against them. Other than that the hotel was very very nice and close to shopping and restaurants. |

| We liked this hotell, although it was clear that their target was not families with young children. Room very nice and pool too. Close to shopping centre and restaurants. |

| We enjoyed our stay we only have three complaints
- Beds are small for two people. We were 4 and it's not so comfortable. They should consider changing the beds to queen size.
- Fridge in the room is useless because there is no space for us to put anything in it. It has lots of stuff in it already but all overpriced (eg. Soda $4). We needed to place some milk for the kids and had no space!
- Rooms could be a little bigger. That problem however is hard to solve! We were in a "superior" room and even these are small.
Other than that a nice hotel!! |

| Had a bay view king for last weekend. The location was nice but nothing to write home about. The hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful. The only knock against it is the air in the room, don't know if it had to do with circulation or what just we could not get the room comfortable. |
