| The location was excellent, right off the Tampa side of the Gandy Bridge, so moving back and forth between St Pete was easy.
We were there for a family wedding and had flowers in the room for a couple days beforehand which made things a little cramped, but the staff was polite and friendly and worked with us as we were getting ready.
It's a La Quinta, so you wouldn't expect a Hilton, but the rooms were clean and nice. No peeling paint or wallpaper, it was tidy and as generic as you would expect.
No lounge or restaurant, but a decent free breakfast with juices, bagels, a couple waffle irons, etc. |

| This La Quinta seems well managed and very clean and neat. No complaints on service or quality. It's a little out of the way for downtown Tampa (20 minutes if traffic is light), but much more reasonably priced than other hotels which are also a 15+ minute drive from downtown. |

| We booked this to go to a X-mas party around the corner.Asked lady at reception during checkin if was ok to have a few friends come over after party 11pm or so.She said will be fine.
Later that evening we 1 friend show up.2 more arrived.Guy at front desk called our room.Said we are at CAPACITY of our room.Wouldnt let anyone else in.Was really rude too. |
