Recent Marriott Waterside Marina Review: "This stay was for the Outback Bowl and festivities. The staff were very professional, except for the staff member, who found it necessary to notify us in a curt and harsh tone, that we could not take our luggage up to our room. We already loaded it on a cart, and were on our way through the 1st floor. It was our 1st time to this hotel, and we thought  he could have been kinder, and more helpful. We were then assisted by a very kind and hospitable bellman. The decor was wonderful, we loved all the Spartan logos too. Our bed comforter was much too heavy, and did affect our sleep, due to temperature control. The food offerings and the other refreshment areas were perfect. Perhaps the bar and waitress staff could have been beefed up for this event. We waited so long in the lobby seating area for a waitress on 12/31, that my husband went to the bar and ordered, and then brought it back himself. All in all, this property is beautifully maintained, and we would return. Thank you!"
