| We have a 9 month old girl who is crawling all over the world. Because of this we actually look at low spots for dirt and grime. The floors could have been better, the general upkeep appearance could be better, and only expensive valet service was unexpected. Decent for the money. |

| The hotel is located right on the river in downtown Tampa and a short walk to join the riverside walkway and associated bars and restaurant. Only negative point for us was that the staff member overseeing breakfast in the club lounge closed 1 hour earlier than reception had told guests. Otherwise stay was very enjoyable and staff very helpful. |

| The Sheraton Tampa Riverwalk Hotel was a great find. It is in a great location. Walking distance to all sorts of activities. The best thing about the hotel is that they are dog friendly and do not charge extra for the animal! The room as very clean too and there was no odor of animal anywhere in the hotel. I only live within an hour of the hotel, but was having such a good time in the city we decided to stay the night. The only thing that could have made it any better is if they allowed the dogs to swim in the pool. I know, now I'm asking for a lot. Stay here, you will not be disapointed. |

| Location was really nice. Building looks really nice inside and out. They double booked my room so we did walk in on someone naked (very awkward). They gave us a room right away one floor up and a complementary breakfast. The breakfast was not good at all. Eggs were grainy... Parking was difficult so you still end up paying the same even with the p romotion. |

| As many reviewers stated, this hotel was not built as a Sheraton property. It was face-lifted. Things they can fix rapidly, it was Sheraton. They had great service staff, the bed was comfortable Sheraton bed. The room was clean.
Things which needs time and costs are not fixed up yet, but functioning. My room had old bath tub with stains and rust. Wallpaper had mold and peeling off. I had to duck down under the desk to turn on the table lamp. There was no alarm clock in the room. If you are looking for 4 star "Sheraton" rooms, this may not be the hotel you want. If you want to save some money instead of staying near convention center but want to have a nice clean room and bed, this is a good choice. I was pretty happy about the balance of the cost and the quality of the hotel. |

| With the name "Sheraton", you expect a nice hotel, and this one didn't disappoint - but the staff really stood out as exceptional. The man at the desk went out of his way, when checking us in, to make sure we had everything we'd need to really enjoy our stay. Everyone else we dealt with at this hotel was polite, helpful, friendly - and that really makes a huge difference.
Now, if the Tampa traffic cops weren't so surly and authoritative, the whole weekend would've been great! |
