Recent Sheraton Westshore Review: "I had a group of friends and myself (8 in all) stay at Sheraton Suites for a bachelor party celebration. The hotel was eye catching to walk in and we were greeted right away. I checked everyone in and we headed to the bar. We ran up a substantial tab there around 5pm. My only complaint was the extremely high pricing for the food and drink, I understand hotel prices are generally higher but these were a bit too high!! My friends and I all work in the hospitality field and were in agreement. The rooms were spacious, clean and larger than expected. The staff was courteous, we even had our own shuttle driver Sergio who helped us find the hot spots. every staff member was engaging, helpful and understanding to our someone demanding needs. All in all would recommend."

The smoke-free Sheraton Suites Tampa Airport is situated in the heart of the Westshore Business District off Interstate 275. Located just two miles from the airport, this all-suite hotel is within 20 miles of Tampa's major attractions. Guests are offered a complimentary, shuttle service to the airport and within the surrounding area (during limited hours). A restaurant and bar, pool, fitness center and gift shop are located within the hotel. Hotel services include safe deposit boxes, luggage assistance, and parking. A business center with computer, fax, printer, and copier is also onsite. The Sheraton's two-room suites have a separate living room with refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and sleeper sofa. The private bedroom has a separate vanity area. Each suite has two remote control TVs and a stereo/CD player, two telephones with dual lines and complimentary high-speed Internet access.
This hotel is renovating its pool until the end of May; and its guestrooms, dining room, fitness center, business center, hallway, elevator, and lobby until November 30, 2009. Guests will have access to a nearby pool.
The hotel assures that it will make every effort to minimize construction noise and related disturbance.

| I knew it would be a nice hotel because it was a Sheraton but it was much more than I expected. We loved it! The beds were amazing. We loved the that the rooms had a separate sitting area with a TV. Very clean and everyone was very friendly. We will definately be back and I will recommend it to everyone I know visiting the Tampa area! |

| Hotel is NICE! Room is super spacious. Bed is amazing! Only problem I had was with some family reunion that was going on. They had a bunch of disrespectful kids who took over the business area while I was trying to get some work done for a website I write for. Other than that, the place is awesome for a great rate! |

| Smooth booking and check in. Friendly people at the front desk, and the concierge.
Got a great deal and it was in a perfect location for me. The hotel is close to Dale Mabry and the 275 - definitely made it easy to travel. It's about 30 min to Clearwater beach (close to the Causeway), and about an hour south to Holmes Beach (quiet and gorgeous). International Plaza is extremely close, shopping and eating are great over there. Redington (i think) and Madiera Beach are also very close, as are about a dozen other beaches.
Stayed on a Thursday night, it was relatively quiet, with 2 or 3 luncheons going on. Parking was relatively easy, and close to the entrance. The hotel lobby was immaculate, with plenty of lounge-style seating, a bar, and a small internet nook (first 45 minutes free) near the front.
The room? Wow. I walked into a suite and was greeted by a brand new flat-screen TV and a nice seating area. There was a desk built-in (great, because I had work to do), and a fridge/microwave/sink area. The bathroom was nicely redone, with a sort of zebra/bamboo paneling, very nice. The bed was the softest thing I'd laid on in years. Super plush. Another flat screen in the bedroom was nice too. An iHome alarm clock with iPod dock on the stand next to the king size bed was great for the wake up, too.
The only minus was that since our hotel room faced the freeway, the balcony doors had to be locked, so we had to settle for just the view. Not a problem though, because we don't smoke, or spend a lot of time in the room.
We got some good coupon books from the concierge, saved us about $100-$150 on food and the Hard Rock casino ($20 in free play on one of the maps!). Found a few bars/clubs a short drive away, as there was nothing that I saw in the immediate area. A rental car or cabs are a definite - as I didn't see anything within walking distance.

| I fell in love with our mattress! According to a hotel worker, the rooms were renovated a little over a year ago. Well, a job well done! Large flat screens in the bedroom and living area. Large microwave and fridge, not the college dorm size appliances! Close to the airport, beach, two malls, Tampa Stadium, and a IHOP or Waffle House. Lots of restaurants on Dale Mabry Blvd. |
