Recent Tahitian Inn Cafe Review: "I stayed at this hotel which is near the Tampa Airport because I was catching an early flight the next morning and I live an hour away. It was comfortable suited my needs. All rooms have free wireless internet connections which I was able to use. The hotel was not crowded and this was a Friday night. The only negative thing I have to say was that the soda machine outside my room kept spitting back out my dollar bills so I couldn't get a soda. The restaurant was quiet and the food was good. I sat at a table outside near a small waterfall that was just the peacefulness I was looking for. I liked this hotel well enough that I booked myself a room for my return trip since my plane wouldn't be landing until midnight. Wonderful people at the desk both times."

| The rooms were not like the pictures that were meant as depictions of them. There is no hot tub, the outside pool bar is inconsistent. The spa staff were unfriendly. The saving grace of this place is a wonderfully energetic woman who manages the small cafe on premise. She made us feel very welcome and was very helpful. |

| Very impressed wit the hotel. Nice smaller family owned place close to everything, price was amazing for July 4th weekend. Rooms were excellent and TommyBahama furniture, only negative was loud a/c unit in room and can hear easily through attached door to next room. Stayed in main suite building, had a dog, dogs not usualy allowed inside suites but they made special exception and allowed us to stay with our Mini Schnauzer, would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quaint little weekend getaway. AWESOME!!! |

Internet was horrific......grease truck came and pumped grease pit at 5:45am and kept us awake for 45 minutes.....Front desk offered to upgrade room on next stay....weak response |

| It was fine for a one night stay. Didn't get to use the amenities such as the spa or pool. Breakfast special looked great for the price. More cable chanel choices than previous hotel. Positive-huge room, negative-tiled floor. Very quiet to be located on a major highway. |

| I was in room 121 on the first floor adjacent to the laundry, rear cafe entrance and the pool club area...very noisy and seemingly never any peace & quiet. We were awaken by the housekeepers talking loudly in the AM and the laundry staff on their cell phones in the parking lot. I would recommend the 2nd floor on the opposite side of the hotel. Other than that not a bad spot. |

| surprisingly good in most ways, very clean, but it would be nice to have some small rug on the tile floors. The only problem is the air conditioner....it cycles on and off, and is extremely noisy. |

| On the positive side, the hotel staff was friendly and the hotel room was clean. It's also very close to the airport.
However, the rooms do not live up to the pictures posted online. Other reviews about uncomfortable mattresses are absolutely correct. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The air conditioning unit was incredibly loud too; I can sleep through almost anything, but found myself waking up every 30 minutes or so because of the noise. For the price of the hotel, I just expected more.
We definitely won't stay here again. I'd rather pay a few dollars more to get a good night's rest at another hotel. |

| Super amazing location. Gorgeous pool. Improvement from normal hotels, especially considering the price. Tahitian theme is fun.
Would definitely recommend. I know I'm headed there everytime I'm in Tampa from now on. |

| all amenities were there at a very reasonable price. if you expect a very fancy place , this is not it, bit everything was very tastful, secure and very safe. Food very good in hotel. very nice pool and ideal for 2 or 3 night stay , close to airport, very friendly employees and all services needed and quickly. |
